The New York State Commission for Social Justice (CSJ), the anti-defamation and positive image arm of the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA), is hosting a "CSJ in the Classroom" event. We want to engage you with us to learn about the missions of CSJ ---fighting bias and bigotry against Italians and promoting a positive image of Italian people. Presentations will be made by us, and free positive image materials and sample lesson plans to be used in your classroom will be distributed to you free of charge! Small group discussions will ensue.
Saturday, December 3rd at 10 am at the Marco Polo Lodge (The Liberty Travel Building, 3483 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown 11756). A continental breakfast will be served. It will be a new experience for you, and you won't be disappointed! So, come on down! For more information contact Jean Gagliardo at 516/935-5084 or at jgagliardo1@optimum.net.
