September 9 (Friday). Caravaggio: Masterpieces of the Italian Baroque Artist
This presentation is a follow up to the acclaimed spring 2016 lecture on Caravaggio. It will present some of his greatest masterpieces along with further insight into his methods of painting and his unique sense of aesthetics. Light reception will precede the lecture at 6:30 pm. Lecture begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Must register in advance and prepay.
