Patrons recently filled three theaters in the Atrium Cinemas in Eltingville to see “Chuck Zito: An American Story,” a documentary about the Italian-American known for his time as a boxer, bodyguard, stunt man, actor and president of the New York Hells Angels motorcycle club.
Zito, who was born in the Bronx, has been in films such as “Homefront” and television shows like “Oz” and “Law and Order: Criminal Intent.” The documentary covered his life from birth until the early 2000s, focusing greatly on his time as a bodyguard for celebrities such as Jean-Claude Van Damme and Pamela Anderson.
