
The Columbus Day Parade Committee named Vincent Vetrini as the grand marshal of this year's event, while Joseph Luciano received the Monsignor Anthony Maltese Humanitarian Award and Scott Mikos was named recipient of the DiRubba Community Service Award.
Vetrini, a longtime supporter of the Columbus Day Parade Committee, is the co-founder of the Eastchester Youth Soccer Association, and owner of County Appliances in Stamford, Conn. Luciano, a lifelong resident, has been an active sports coach at various levels and is currently a member of the town's Youth Sports Council. Mikos, president and chief executive officer of the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corp, has been a volunteer there for more than a decade.
