An annual celebration in the Bronx is focusing on family and food this year. The 22nd annual St. Theresa's Italian American Family Feast kicked off this past Wednesday. The event is serving up Italian-American food and pastries like zeppoles, calzones and fried Oreos by various vendors. The festival also offers American dishes such as burgers and hot dogs.
There are traditional rides and booths along St. Theresa Avenue and a chance to win a grand raffle with a first place prize of $25,000. They also have a kiddie zone with activities for children inside St. Theresa’s Gym. The feast reopens Saturday afternoon and continues through Sunday.
