The 119th anniversary of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society, the festa in Rosebank which kicked off on July 14, will continue through Sunday, July 24. It runs Thursday through Sunday. Entertainment is on tap each evening. The feast, that opens at 7:30 p.m., is hosted in the area where a group of Italian immigrants settled during the early 1900s. On Thursday evening, July 21, deejay Vin Vibes takes the stage.
Friday, Rag Doll will provide a tribute to Frankie Valli. Rick Alviti will perform tunes made famous by Elvis on Saturday, July 23 and on Sunday, July 24, members of the doo op group, Nostalgia, will belt out the hits from the the 50′s and 60′s. A Mass was celebrated July 16 in St. Joseph/St. Mary Immaculate R.C. Church to kick off the event.
