Poughkeepsie native and Wappingers Falls resident John Regan has played bass with Ace Frehley of Kiss and Peter Frampton. He has recorded with the Rolling Stones and once auditioned for that band's full-time bass slot.
He does, however, take an enormous amount of pride in the days he spent playing local clubs around the Hudson Valley. And, for all that this guy has achieved on the rock 'n' roll stage, there is one honor he recently received that seems to mean just as much, even though it was bestowed upon him very far from the screaming fans and the spotlights.
