State Sen. Mark Grisanti has been named the Boys and Girls Town of Italy 2013 Man of the Year award recipient. He will be honored for his dedication to charitable causes and for his support of Boys and Girls Town of Italy WNY Chapter at the organization's 50th annual gala tonight at Salvatore's Italian Gardens.
"I am truly humbled and honored to receive this award," Grisanti said. "I feel it is very important to be involved in your community and be a role model for children. I encourage others to get involved and become active in their community, whether it be by volunteering at your church, serving as a coach for a sports team or joining a civic organization. Everyone can help to make a difference and improve the conditions of their neighborhood if they just get involved."
