
Gina Biancardi, president and founder of the Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere, has been decorated as a Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia, one of the highest civilian honors bestowed by the Italian government.
The award was bestowed by the President of the Republic of Italy, the Hon. Sergio Mattarella, and was presented to Gina on Friday by Fabrizio Di Michele, the Consulate General of Italy, at the Italian Consulate mansion in New York City.
The award honors Gina for her significant contributions to promoting Italian culture and supporting Italy’s prestige abroad. It is an esteemed recognition of her merit, diplomacy, and cultural ambassadorship.
