Italian-American actress Isabella Rossellini is part of a bevy of local women leaders who have been chosen to receive special awards as part of Women's Recognition Night at Brookhaven Town Hall this month.
Rossellini, who has a home in Brookhaven, has been tapped to receive a special commendation award from the Town Board, representing the 4th Council District at the March 20 event. Rossellini operates a farm in Brookhaven and maintains an active role in the South Shore's arts and environment scene.
