Republican candidate for governor Rob Astorino angered Italian-American leaders Monday by comparing Gov. Cuomo's handling of the anti-corruption Moreland Commission to the actions of a mafia boss.

Astorino used the mafia comparison to mock Cuomo's argument that his administration only gave "advice" the Moreland Commission and did not interfere with its investigations or take away any of its independence.
