On Monday, October 14, 2024, internationally acclaimed singer Giada Valenti, originally from Portogruaro (VE), Italy, will once again co-host the annual Columbus Day Parade on ABC7 television in New York City. This marks the third time that Giada has been selected to co-host the event, which is the largest celebration of Italian heritage and culture in the United States.

The three-hour live broadcast will reach millions of viewers across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, highlighting the deep-rooted Italian-American traditions that have become a cherished part of the nation’s fabric. The Columbus Day Parade, held in the heart of Manhattan along Fifth Avenue, is a cultural phenomenon that celebrates Italian history, art, food, and contributions to society.

Giada, who has been based in the United States since 2005 and has lived in Las Vegas since 2019, is honored to be part of such a prestigious event that resonates deeply with her personal and professional journey.

Valenti’s illustrious career includes numerous milestones, such as her acclaimed PBS special *From Venice with Love* (www.fromvenicewithlove.com), and headline performances in renowned venues like The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas and the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York City. She has also performed with iconic tenor Andrea Bocelli at a concert benefiting his foundation, further solidifying her status as a musical talent who bridges her Italian roots with an international fanbase.

In November 2023, Giada released her much-anticipated Christmas album, *Love Under The Christmas Tree*, which features duets with country music legends Vince Gill, Trace Adkins, and Johnny Reid. Her previous albums include *And I Love You So*, *Italian Signorina*, *My Lullaby*, and *From Venice with Love*—each a testament to her timeless voice and passion for bringing Italian culture to a global audience.

“I am incredibly proud of my heritage and excited to be part of the Columbus Day Parade once again. It is an honor to share the beauty of Italian culture with millions of people,” said Valenti.
