Moses, a former city editor at Newsday, will be the guest speaker at the meeting, set to take place at the Shore Hill Community Room, 9000 Shore Road, at 7:30 p.m. New York State Supreme Court Justice Arthur Schack will be the guest speaker at the society's April 20 meeting at Shore Hill.
Schack, who served as a lawyer for the Major League Baseball Players Association for 16 years prior to becoming a judge, will speak about the reserve clause and free agency. In an email to members, Historical Society President Tom McCarthy described Moses and Schack as "two fantastic speakers."
