The De Cecco Little Italy Festival of Rochester, NY, is delighted to announce that a major international artist and PBS television superstar from Venice, Italy, – Italian songstress GIADA VALENTI – will be performing her live show “From Venice with Love” at this year’s Little Italy Festival at 8pm, on Saturday, August 20th at Parcel 5 (285 E. Main St) in downtown Rochester.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, relating to tour routing issues in the Northeastern United States and NY State, Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses will not be performing at this year’s festival. Giada Valenti, who sings in Italian, English, French and Spanish, brings the romance and elegance of Italy to our event.
She will captivate audiences with her voice, story-telling and very down to earth personality, making this year's festival a very romantic Italian experience. We look forward to welcoming this international superstar to Rochester, NY!
All festival VIP tickets and General Admission tickets will be honored as planned, with a meet and greet with Giada Valenti after her show in Rochester, where she’ll be available to sign photos and posters. Her CD’s will also be available for purchase after the show, near the main stage at Parcel 5.
Silvano Orsi (Little Italy Festival President and Founder):
“We are delighted to welcome Giada Valenti and her “From Venice with Love” live show to downtown Rochester. It’s not every day that such an elegant international superstar comes to our flower city. We look forward to the community joining us for a very uplifting and romantic evening on August 20th at Parcel 5.”
Giada will be available in Rochester for morning segments on Friday, August 19th, and she is also available to do a short cooking segment (preparing a delicious Italian Tiramisu desert) on your morning news shows.
