Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci served spaghetti and meatballs to seniors at the Town of Huntington Senior Center's Italian Festival on October 17. "Celebrating Italian Heritage Month is always fun because of all the great Italian foods we can enjoy," said Supervisor Lupinacci, who supplied the cake for the celebration, adorned with an Italian flag in icing, donated by King Kullen.
The Town of Huntington Senior Center first opened its doors on March 18, 1974. Its goal was to provide a nutritious meal and enjoyable activities for all Town residents over the age of sixty. Forty-four years later, they have two locations, nine clubs, and over 2,500 members who participate in the lunch program, activities and educational programs.
