More churches in Lower Hudson could merge

More than a half-dozen additional Catholic churches in the Lower Hudson Valley could merge next year as part of the ongoing reorganization by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.
Under the latest proposal by Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in White Plains and Our Lady of Pompeii in Dobbs Ferry would close, except for special occasions.
