A new mural in Rochester now welcomes people to the Little Italy Historic District in the city. The mural was unveiled Tuesday at the Flat Iron Cafe on State Street. It features the likenesses of former Governor Mario Cuomo and stars including Frank Sinatra and Madonna.
"Today is about the business owners and community stepping up and putting their money where their mouth is and installing beautiful murals like this on their property to beautify the neighborhood and revitalize the area," said Silvano Orsi, president of the Little Italy Neighborhood Association.
