Aileen Riotto Sirey, Ph.D., NOIAW Founder and Chair Emerita, appeared on a panel at the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute on May 3, 2016 as part of a presentation on the new book We The Italians: Two Countries, One Heart, by author Umberto Mucci.

Other panelists included Cav. Anthony J. Tamburri, Dean of the John D. Calandra Institute, and Cav. Uff. Joseph Sciame, Vice President for Community Relations at St. John's University.
