The East Harlem Giglio Society regrets to inform all of our members, family and friends about the passing of our beloved Capo Anthony Prisco. Words cannot express how deeply saddened we all are about this tragic loss. Anthony was truly one of the good ones. His love of the Giglio was by far inspirational to many. We can all remember how Anthony’s smile lit up on Giglio Sunday, how he couldn’t wait for the band to start playing all the music he loved so much to dance the Giglio to.
Most of all we can’t forget when he would grace us by singing a song or two. There are so many sweet memories we all had with this amazing man. Anthony’s stories about growing up with all his childhood friends, the happiness he expressed when his kids were getting married, the joy in his heart when he talked about his grandchildren and how much he adored his wife. Family and true friends meant the world to him.
