People in the Hudson Valley broke the record for the most people simultaneously eating pasta. The record was broken at the Sons of Italy Italian Feast in Tappan, NY. "The current record was to have the most amount of people eating pasta at one time and there were three different types of pasta that had to be eaten,” says Greg Decola, a member of the Sons of Italy.

He says the current record was 348 people and they had 366 to break the record. "It is an official world record,” says Decola. “Unconfirmed, we really had about 430 or 440 people eat, but 366 is our official number right now with Guinness."
