Architecture faculty and students at RIT will work on concept designs for Little Italy in Gates, the latest boost for the effort to create a vibrant multi-cultural neighborhood in the west-side town.

The involvement of Rochester Institute of Technology's Architecture Department, announced Thursday, starts early next year. Giovanna Potestà, an assistant professor of architecture at RIT who was educated and practiced in Italy, will lead the team.
