Felice Mucedula and Paolo Saltarello, strolling musicians from Auburn, added a distinctive flair to the Mount Morris Italian Festival last weekend. Mucedola is an accordionist. Saltarello provides vocals and plays mandolin. “That’s our repertoire, the old Italian-American songs that we do,” said Saltarello. “We just love to entertain.”
The duo plays many Italian festivals, traveling across the state from Buffalo to Watertown. This year was their first time performing in Mount Morris. “We enjoy playing this kind of festival,” Mucedula said. “We’re comfortable with an Italian-themed crowd.”
