The Real Little Italy

Little Italy, nested in between several culturally-rich neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan, is known for its multitude of Italian restaurants. However, the authenticity is questionable.
In 2000 only 6% or 44 of the residents here were born in Italy, and in 2011 a census found that none of the residents in Little Italy were Italian-born.
