
Nicaletta "Nicki" Greer and Louis Rizzieri are this year's awards recipients at the annual St. Anthony's Festival Sept. 4 to 6. Rizzieri was chosen as the 37th recipient of the Father Beatini Award for community service. He will be honored at the 11 a.m. Mass Sept. 6 at St. Patrick's Church.The annual St. Anthony's procession will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Rumseyville Sportsmen's Club and march to the church.
The St. Anthony's Commission is hosting a free continental breakfast at the Rumseyville Club starting at 9 a.m. Sunday. All former honorees and their families are invited to participate in the procession. "The Commission feels that this is an excellent choice for the Father Beatini Award," said Karen Burlingame, Commission president. "Louis Rizzieri is a tremendous asset to our community."
