The first time I had tasted one of Viola’s famous subs was at the summer's Galbani Italian Heritage Festival. Since then, I have already visited its brick-and-mortar location in Niagara Falls for more of Viola's delicious sandwiches loaded with tangy dressing, mild cheese and thinly sliced steak.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely casual. Bold red walls are lined with hot sauce wallpaper. Bright yellow booths are for customers who want to dine in. It’s a cash-only establishment, but there is an ATM on site. Place your order at the counter with the friendly staff and you'll get a shout when it’s ready to grab and go.
