Volunteers turning Endicott streets into 'Little Italy'

The green, white and red paint glistened against the black pavement. The air buzzed with excitement.
"Look how nice the street looks," Town of Union Councilman Frank Bertoni said with a smile.
On Monday, village residents, business owners and officials worked to turn the area into "Little Italy" in preparation for next weekend's Gusto Italian Festival.
