Last week, the number of people who died from the new coronavirus in Italy surpassed the COVID-19 fatalities in China, a country with a population more than 20 times greater. And the very sobering news is that scientists say the United States is on a trajectory that is more similar to Italy than the Asian countries.
The Consulate General of Italy, Francesco Genuardi, who is based in New York, talks to Roma Torre about what lessons New York City and the United States can learn from Italy’s coronavirus crisis.
