The Westchester Italian Cultural Center is considered the cultural gem of Westchester County, the only Italian Cultural Center in the tri-state area that offers a variety of programs and events to promote all aspects of Italian language and culture. From language classes, to open air film festivals, cooking classes, fine wine tastings, music and arts, history, our programs and events are open and attended by a wide range of participants, from Italian to Italian-Americans and Italophiles of all ages and walks of life.
Since its opening in 2007, the Cultural Center has presented unparalleled programs, events, and exhibits. From The Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci, to Italian Builders, Artisan, and Trades, Il Cammino di Padre Pio, to the most recent Art & Perception exhibit that featured the artworks of some contemporary Italian-American artist in Westchester County, and the annual display of the stunning Presepio Napoletano. Through these events and cultural awakenings we continue to fight negative stereotypes by promoting the positive aspects of what it means to be Italian.
In 2014 we have presented a variety of outstanding cultural programs, launched new initiatives such as our First Journey to Italy, local trips, and members meet-up events. For the first time we presented a merit-based scholarship for outstanding students of Italian. Your loyal support will ensure that we can continue promoting our mission of celebrating and preserving the rich heritage of Italian culture not only for us but for generations to come. Your gift does make a difference, with your help we can continue on our mission!
We sincerely appreciate any donation you are able to offer. Please remember that any amount helps.
