Joann Campbell, with the Italian Heritage Club, stated, “October, as Italian Heritage month, provides us with the opportunity to recognize the contributions, achievements, and successes of Italians and Italian Americans and to celebrate our heritage and culture not only during October but year round and to ensure that our Heritage and traditions so rich, especially in the Mohawk Valley, are shared with our children and grandchildren.”
