Six area high school seniors were awarded scholarships Thursday, May 10, by Circolo da Vinci, a nonprofit Yorktown organization that promotes Italian-American heritage. The 36th annual scholarship dinner was held at Vittoria’Z in Jefferson Valley.
This year’s scholarship award recipients were: Matteo Cosentino of Fordham Preparatory School (Albert Capellini Memorial Scholarship); Melanie Lattin of Ossining High School (Circolo da Vinci Scholarship); Aidan Mahoney of Somers High School (Ken Langone Scholarship); Bianca Rose Maniglia of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School (Robin Risi Memorial Scholarship); Patrick Patierno of Yorktown High School (Louis Materasso Memorial Scholarship), and Risa Repetto of Walter Panas High School (Circolo da Vinci Scholarship).
