Saturday evening, the Bella Italia Lodge hosted a "Vegas night" to raise money for their annual Italian Festival. The organization was forced to cancel last year's festival because of the October floods, causing them to lose money.

Now, they are asking for the community's help so that this fall, they are able to host the popular event again. President of the club, Domenico Santoro says, "If I have to go knock on every door, every City Council door, everybody, I'll do it because Columbia wants a festival, we want a festival but when the money's not there I cant do it."
