Italian Feast celebrates Italian heritage

Mangia! It's time for the third annual Italian Feast, quickly becoming a popular Summerville event. Last year's festival attracted approximately 5,000 people, according to event director and president of the Italian Feast board Jay Lombardo, and this year he's expecting about 7,000.

Italian Feast kicked off in the spring of 2013. For the first two years it was held in Azalea Park the weekend following the Flowertown Festival. Now, it's grown large enough that it's moved to a new date in the fall and a new space: Hutchinson Square.
