Street painting, rides, games, and an eclectic display of Italian foods to eat and enjoy. These are some of the fun items on the menu of the 13th annual Feast of Little Italy in Jupiter this weekend. What started more than a decade ago as a vision to create an experience rich in Italian culture has turned into a celebration of the contributions of great Italians through food, music, art and tradition.
Co-founder Jerry Summa's aim is for the festival to encourage the importance of family and community while honoring the hardships of the Italian ancestors who migrated to the United States. Summa, a 20-year resident of Tequesta, hopes to capture the passion of the Italian-American culture with each festival.
