Nancy Maio watched black clouds descend as she and her husband drove to trim pepper trees obscuring a white and red "Alan Maio for Sarasota County Commission" sign.
The clouds burst. Al pruned on. Nancy, dry in the truck, rolled down her window just enough to shout, "You really must want this job!"
