Claudio Bisogniero, Ambassador of Italy to the United States, is traveling to Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Kentucky to meet with local authorities, promote business, cultural, and scientific ties with Italy, and raise awareness about Expo Milan 2015 and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

On Tuesday, he traveled to Little Rock for meetings with Governor Asa Hutchinson, Secretary of State Mark Martin, and Mayor Mark Stodola. On February 4, the Ambassador will be in Oklahoma to meet Governor Mary Fallin and Secretary of State Chris Benge, then on February 5 he will be in Kentucky for scheduled meetings with Louisville Mayor Greg Fisher and the Italian American community.
