Visiting Assistant Professor of Italian
The University of Arkansas announces a one-year renewable Visiting Assistant Professor position in Italian in the Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures to begin August 15, 2013.
The applicants must possess native or near-native fluency in English and Italian, and be willing to teach Italian courses at all levels; assist in the development of an Italian minor; recruit students for the Italian program and for the University Rome Center; and participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship is required. Research specialization is open; Ph.D. in Italian required.
