
Professors and Poets Luigi Fontanella (SUNY Stony Brook) and Alessandro Carrera (Univ. of Houston) will be teaming up at the Italian Cultural and Community Center (ICCC) to share some of their published poetry with the Houston community. The readings will be in both Italian and English followed by a Question and Answer Session. Prof. Luigi Fontanella is Professor of Italian in the Dept. of European Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. He is the editor of Gradiva, An International Journal of Italian Poetry and also Gradiva Publications. He is the founder and president of IPA (Italian Poetry in America). Prof. Alessandro Carrera is Professor of Italian and Director of the Italian Program and Graduate Director of the World Cultures and Literatures Program.
