
The St. Joseph Society of Donaldsonville continued a long tradition of erecting an altar for the patron saint of those in need complete with a meatless spaghetti and a variety of deserts Sunday at St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall.
"The Italian people showed out," said society member Philip Matassa. "The whole community of Donaldsonville is here. If you are looking for a nice, clean function, this is it."
