
A mid-July gathering of dozens of Italy North Mission alumni helped mark the 45th anniversary of the mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dan C. Jorgensen served as the president of the Italy North Mission from the mission's founding in July 1971 until it was renamed Italy Milan Mission in the summer of 1974. The Italy North Mission was formed from the partitioning of the Great Italy Mission and Jorgensen had previously served as counselor to its president, John Duns Jr.
