In March 2013, an ISSNAF working group composed by renowned researchers presented H.E. Ambassador Claudio Bisognero with a comprehensive set of recommendations to tackle issues related to taxation, vias and other burocratic aspects of the life of Italian researchers in the United States.

The document based its conclusion on a wide survey conducted at the beginning of the year on over 800 Italian researchers.
