NJ Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese to Receive Creative Communities Award

The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation (NNJCF) announces New Jersey Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese of Cliffside Park will receive the first Creative Communities Award at the organization’s inaugural Community Changemaker Night. This special event will honor exemplary community leaders, who have made significant contributions to the betterment of life in North Jersey.

The celebration takes place on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at a cocktail reception at Forte Ristorante, located at 160 Prospect Avenue in Hackensack, New Jersey. The NNJCF is a 501( c ) (3) not-for-profit headquartered in Hackensack, serving North Jersey.

Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese will receive the Creative Communities Award for his work helping communities through the arts, supporting artists, and enhancing cultural ecosystems. His extensive experience includes roles on various committees, including Vice-Chair of the Assembly Tourism, Arts, and Gaming Committee and Chair of the Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee. He has also held the position of Vice-Chair in the Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities Committee and the Assembly Oversight, Reform, and Federal Relations Committee. Assemblyman Calabrese has also served on the Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee, the Assembly Housing Committee, and the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
