Job Description: The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing the individual and institutional major donor program in order to meet NIAF’s yearly fundraising goals. The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for developing a new and differentiated base of national and international donors in order to facilitate the NIAF mission and operational requirements. Furthermore, this role will serve to maximize funding from existing individual and institutional donors. The Major Gifts Officer reports directly to the President/COO of NIAF.

Additionally, the Major Gifts Officer will be required to:

- Identify, cultivate and solicit qualifying donors for major and planned gift, including corporate matching gifts.
- Create a plan of action for each donor and present this plan to NIAF senior management and Board of Directors.
- Compile and aggregate donor information, creating an internal NIAF database of major donors.
