
The America-Italy Society (AIS) of Philadelphia is offering a paid internship for a summer archival, research, and writing project on its history and mission. The intern will select historical documents, do research on the web, and prepare information to publish on the AIS website (http://www.aisphila.org/site/), which will be fully renovated.
Qualifications: completed or nearly-completed undergraduate or postgraduate study in Italian, near-native skills in both English and Italian, knowledge of Italian and US contemporary history (particularly WWII, the Marshall Plan, and Postwar Italy), ability to use WordPress and the web research tools.
The intern will work on the premises of the AIS for the whole duration of the project (about one month/30 hours during the summer). The salary is $900.
