
The Arcolian Dental Arts Society will honor Dr. Joseph A. Favia as Arcolian of the Year at its Christmas party on Dec. 10 at The Elmcrest Banquets in Elmwood Park. Favia has been a member of the Arcolians since 1993, serving as the society’s president in 2014 and as its golf outing chairman for the past eight years. ArA graduate of the Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1993, he owns and operates Favia Family Dental in Arlington Heights, where he lives with his wife and three children.
As the president of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce in 2010, Favia launched the Taste of Arlington Heights, receiving a Hearts of Gold Award from the village in 2013 for his contributions to the community. He also founded and ran the Windy City Classic Celebrity Golf Tournament for 14 years, raising close to $1 million for cancer research.
