An Italian auto supplier plans to invest in new capacity by adding a West Michigan, MiBiz has learned. INglass Group SpA, a San Polo di Piave, Italy-based supplier of molds for translucent plastic products such as tail light covers, has acquired undeveloped land on 74th Street in Byron Center to build a 105,000-square-foot facility.
Aided by a $300,000 performance-based grant under the Michigan Business Development Program and a $4.52 million total incentive package including local abatements, the company plans to invest $17.6 million and create 109 new jobs over four years.
