What do you get when you mix an Italian kid from Baltimore with classical music, Motown and jazz and add a little marinara sauce on the side? Timoteo Camponeschi, better known as Slim Manicotti, aka Slim Man.
A singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, cook, author, TV personality and all around Renaissance man, Camponeschi has recorded nearly a dozen CDs and performed for Pope John Paul II on Christmas Day. Primarily known for a soulful vocal style that draws comparisons to Boz Scaggs and Sade, Slim Man is also a classically trained musician who plays trumpet, bass, piano and guitar.
