Italians win US biomass build

Italian company Turboden has been chosen to supply the world's largest biomass-based organic rankine cycle power unit for a plant in Maine, US.
The ORC system will produce 8MW for Maine Woods Pellet's Athens facility, converting the heat of thermal oil generated by wood residues from de-barking and chipping operations.
