Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino have collaborated with decorative arts talent Barnaba Fornasetti on a series of functional objects that will satisfy the senses. Each item—a stool, trays, a foulard, an eyeglass case, and a plate—corresponds to a faculty: sight, smell, touch, and so on.
In the whimsical mashups of the two Italian brands, Fornasetti's surrealistic black-and-white drawings of eyes, hands, and ears are splashed with Valentino's signature camouflage motif and striking crimson hue.
