VMJ Esposito of West Brighton closed down its retail operation on Tuesday, Feb. 9. A representative from the store told shoppers that the market will reopen in four to five weeks with a Costco-like format.
VMJ Esposito vended produce, canned goods, dairy, fish, meats and other products in bulk. A rep said on Tuesday that new shelving soon would be in place and refrigeration will shift to other parts of the store. The change-up essentially will give shoppers access to a warehouse setup.
