Italian leather upholstery brands Incanto and Digio have a large introduction planned for this High Point Market with a product mix designed to differentiate and grow its U.S. business. High-end brand Incanto has eight introductions — two power motion groups, two stationary and four sectionals — all hand-crafted in Italy of 100% top grain leather. Luxury European styling with modern lines dominate with touches of transitional elements that appeal to the American market. Sectionals offer adjustable tilt headrest that can provide a higher back or lower profile when in the down position.
Incanto’s N.C.-based warehouse program includes four frames — two sectionals and two motion sofas and chairs — stocked in two colors. The retail price on the sectionals is $4,498 while the motion sofas retail at $2,899. Special orders are available in 12 weeks from Italy. “This year Incanto is launching four models with very aggressive prices but only via container programs, two sectionals plus two motion sofas,” said Mario Sforza, export manager. “With retail prices of $2,999 for sectionals and $1,999 for motion sofas, we strongly believe to be very competitive with our offering of all top grain leather and 100% made in Italy.”
